ZAMBIA Team
Pastor Richard Zwau has been working with AFSIA for many years, connecting with vulnerable youth in a compound on the outskirts of Ndola. He holds regular meetings with these youth to be able to provide leadership in their lives. Having been an orphan himself, Richard understands what it means to not have the support of a father to get him through school. He is able to help these vulnerable young people through their difficult circumstances. He trains older youth to be leaders in ministry projects such as providing food and physical help to the elderly in their community. They also are taught to be worship leaders, prayer leaders, and Bible teachers.
As AFSIA ministry staff members, Zion, Adrian, Davies and Kasonde volunteer to assist in the learning of the local children with their school lessons, teach the Bible to the youth and the community at large, administer medicines in our basic care satellite medical clinics, and visit the community members for prayer and counseling.
Barbara Nkashi Kabwe helps AFSIA with record keeping and overseeing financial projects in Zambia. She loves being a part of helping the children of her nation when they are lacking support. She also teaches AIDS counseling courses to help the population of Zambia understand the truth about the transmission of HIV/AIDS and the necessary testing and treatment.
